Printing Instructions
Recommended Settings- Constant Temperatur Mug Press
Time 90-120 seconds
Temperature 370-380°F
Pressure Light/Medium
General Sublimation Instructions - Constant Temperature Mug Press • Preheat the press to 370-380°F. Set the time to 90-120 sec., set pressure to light/medium. • Wipe down the glass with soft cloth misted with isopropyl alcohol. • Print and apply transfer to the product using heat tape to secure the transfer to the glass. • Place the glass into the mug press. Close and press for recommended time. • When finished, while wearing heat gloves remove the glass from press and carefully remove the transfer paper from the glass. Discard the transfer paper
General Sublimation Instructions - Variable Temperature Mug Press
• Preheat the press to 220° F idle temp., and 350-360° F press temperature. Set the time to 10-20 sec., set pressure to light/medium.
• Wipe down the glass with soft cloth misted with isopropyl alcohol.
• Print and apply transfer to the product using heat tape to secure the transfer to the glass.
• Place the glass into the mug press. Close and press for recommended time.
• When finished, while wearing heat gloves remove the glass from press and carefully remove the transfer paper from the glass. Discard the transfer paper.
o CAUTION: Be very careful not to scratch or damage the frosted coating on the glass, as the coating is very fragile while the glass is still hot.
• Set glass aside to cool
Recommended Settings- Convection Oven
Time 9-12 minutes
Temperature 380-400°F
Pressure Light/Medium
General Sublimation Instructions - Convection Oven
• Preheat oven to 380-400°F while preparing the glass.
• Print and place the transfer face down on the glass. Secure transfer with heat tape.
• If using Shrink Sleeves, slide heat shrink sleeve over top of the transfer paper. Use the heat gun to shrink the sleeve onto the glass. o For best results, shrink one end of the sleeve first to help secure the transfer position on the glass.
o If applicable, shrinking the opposite side from the transfer paper first gives best results.
• If using the Quick Release Wrap, wrap the product and close by clasping metal ends. o Be careful not to overtighten the glass if the Quick Release Wrap needs to be adjusted.
• Once oven is preheated, place glass in oven. Close and heat for the recommended time.
• When finished, while wearing heat gloves remove the glass from oven and carefully remove the Shrink Sleeve or Quick Release Wrap from the glass.
• Remove the transfer paper from the glass. Discard the transfer paper.
o CAUTION: Be very careful not to scratch or damage the frosted coating on the glass, as the coating is very fragile while the glass is still hot.
• Set glass aside to cool.
o IMPORTANT: Do not submerge glass in water to help cool, as this may crack or break the glass
