The silicone pad is used as a heat barrier for applications with FOREVER Multi-Trans.  Silicone pad is used to build up temperature slowly to prevent colors from bleeding.

Also used to expand your current mug element size and heat to fit smaller sized bottles.  Longer press time will be required.
